Munising / Pictured Rocks KOA Journey Reviews
Love the UP but the campsite was extremely small for our trailer. Had full hookups but the sewer was so far away towards the front we couldn't hook up to it. You're facing your neighbors so not a lot of privacy. Seems like two spots should probably be one. No grass for dogs to really go potty in. Not ideal for our needs but still a beautiful location and campground overall. We didn't use the facilities but read that they were very nice.
Jun 21, 2025 · Briana McLaughlinI stayed Memorial Day Weekend 2025 and really enjoyed the KOA. Minutes from town. A few more minute from the National Lake shore. Good laundry and showers. Good hookups at our site also. I had some FedEx shipments arrive without problem.
May 28, 2025 · Corbin BrutonI stayed at this KOA in October 2024 during the fall foliage season. Like every KOA I have been to, it was clean, spacious, and had friendly hosts. They were kind enough to post my check-in envelope outside when they found out I would be arriving late that night. The restrooms were immaculate. Saw great views of the aurora borealis that night too. This is undoubtedly the best campground in Alger County, and I will be certain to return. Highly recommended!
Mar 25, 2025 · Alex de la TorreThis was yet another great KOA stay. The gentleman at the desk was a great guy to chat with and was a wealth of knowledge. Most of the sites look very shady and even though we got a tent site with no hookups or water it was a great back in spot for the van.
Jun 17, 2025 · CWStaff is great. Camping spots well maintained and most are level. Definitely will stay here again in the future.
