May 06, 2025 · RachelExcellent place to stay and explore the many trails of this massive state park. The beautiful Oregon never disappoints (even in the rain sometimes). There are views as well as deep forest trails that will keep you wanting to come and explore more. Very beautiful place. There have been recent sightings of cougars and others in the area, so please be prepared. However, it is still worth it for the love of the outdoors. There are cougars all over Oregon, it's just that most of the time they stay in the shadows. The cabins are extremely well maintained, but know going in you'll be close to your neighbors. Not too bad, but just know if you have noisy people on either side you'll be bothered. Dogs are welcome in cabins 6-8 (8 being the furthest from the parking lot, but has the most privacy).
Jun 14, 2019 · Bryan MNice cabins. Have stayed here twice. Consider yourself glamping... there are no cooking areas or bathrooms in cabins. We had a two-room cabin. Has two bunk beds (full & twin bed each) in the bedroom, a futon that folds down to a bed in a living area. Both rooms had ceiling fans. Each cabin is assigned a parking spot. There is no way to contact any park staff. Even the visitor office only has a message machine. The Ranger drove through once on this visit.Yes, there is phone reception. I have two bars, and my husband has five... we have the same phone & service. Go figure?!
Aug 15, 2023 · Rebecca LopezBeen coming here to camp for years. Nice quiet Lil cabin village. There's a disc golf course. Horse back riding area. Mountain bike trails. Hiking trails. Full bathrooms including showers. There's also a 21 mile paved trail nearby. More geared to outdoor adventures.
Oct 09, 2023 · abe smalleyCabins: Contactless check-in. Heater worked well and the cabins were far enough away from eachother to be private. Short walk through the woods to the lake below. Fun time, grocery store about 3 min down the road with everything you'd need for camping etc.
