- RV Sites with Hookups: The primary offering appears to be RV sites equipped with electrical hookups (specifically mentioned as "electricity (a singular extension cord across the grass)" in one review, suggesting a basic setup but still providing power). Other reviews indicate "full hook up sites, 30amp & 50amp service," implying a range of hookup options are generally available, catering to various RV needs.
- Tent Camping Areas: The campground does offer designated areas for tent camping. However, it is noted that these areas may lack natural shade (zero trees along any of the specified 'tent area') and permanent restroom facilities.

- Firewood Sales: Management offers firewood for sale, a convenient service for campers looking to enjoy campfires without having to source wood elsewhere.
- On-Site Management and Assistance: The campground benefits from responsive and helpful on-site management. A customer noted "Andrea was however very kind and welcoming, she stays in a camper there. We arrived pretty late at night, we called her and she picked up right away and directed us to our campsite." This indicates good communication and a willingness to assist guests.
- Pet-Friendly Environment: The campground appears to be pet-friendly, though one review mentions geese being fed, leading to geese droppings, which might be a consideration for pet owners. Pets are generally welcome.
- Easy In/Out Access: For working professionals or those needing frequent vehicle movement, the park offers "no interference of getting in or out," suggesting well-designed access for campers.
- Very Nice and Welcoming People: A consistent highlight from customer reviews is the exceptional friendliness and helpfulness of the staff and management. Phrases like "VERY VERY NICE PEOPLE!!" and "Andrea was however very kind and welcoming" underscore a positive human element that greatly enhances the camping experience.
- Suitable for RVs with Full Hookups: For RV campers, the availability of 30-amp and 50-amp full hookup sites is a significant advantage, providing all the necessary utilities for a comfortable stay.
- Convenient for Working Professionals: The ease of "getting in or out" of the campground makes it particularly suitable for individuals like "pipeliners" who require flexible and unobstructed access for work commutes.
- Presence of a Small Creek: The park features a "small creek in the back" where guests can "dip their feet in or take a dive in whenever the weathers hot." This natural water feature adds a refreshing recreational element.
- Relaxed Atmosphere: The overall tone of positive reviews suggests a laid-back and accommodating environment, appealing to those seeking a low-key camping experience.
- 4/20 Friendly Policy: One review noted that the campground is "4/20 friendly," which could be a distinguishing feature for certain campers, indicating a relaxed policy regarding cannabis use.

Moose Lake Campground Reviews
Loved it here. We did tent camping so everything was perfect . VERY VERY NICE PEOPLE!! It's a great campground !!
Jun 19, 2025 · Terra JacobStayed here for Jonnie Nooner weekend with my boyfriend and older brother. We stayed in a tent and were perhaps the only ones who had stayed in a tent there in months. There was geese poop all over the place (they feed the geese 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️) AND THERE ARE NO ACTUAL BATHROOMS OR SHOWERS. Poorly cleaned porta potty ONLY. If you’re in a camper it’s not a big deal but as a woman trying to camp in a tent it really was unfortunate. Andrea was however very kind and welcoming, she stays in a camper there. We arrived pretty late at night, we called her and she picked up right away and directed us to our campsite. She also sold us some firewood and let us know that the campground is 4/20 friendly which is definitely a plus lol. There are also ZERO trees along ANY of the specified ‘tent area’. So if you plan to hang up tarps or hammocks good luck! Oh and if the sun is out you’re going to ROAST. So overall $35 a night for a plain unshaded campsite with electricity (a singular extension cord across the grass) it could be MUCH nicer.
Jul 02, 2024 · Abby PaasmanQuiet place friendly people. It was a really nice place to stay. The only thing they must have just started to open there was geese poop by the swimming area. They probably will be on that task as more campers start camping. They offer yearly stays, but they have a long list. That's a bummer because we are looking for a year around.
Jun 27, 2023 · Retta DufortHad a beautiful experience with friends and family for the 4th. Great hospitality! Fishing, swimming fireworks and food. We will be back for sure.
Jul 07, 2024 · brandi BrewerIt's ok. Clean, friendly, and has a lot to do. Game room is cool, good fishing lake and a small playground. It's better in a camper rather than a tent. Close to the highway so noise was an issue for me sleeping. No actual restroom just port o potty. Rates are pretty cheap $30 a night with electric. I would probably camp here again, though it would not be my first choice.
