The natural features, such as the abundant water in the creek and the logs for seating, enhance the primitive camping experience, making it both comfortable and authentic. It's also a fantastic spot for families, as the natural setting is an excellent classroom for teaching children about the environment and the importance of conservation. While the mosquitoes may be present at certain times, as is common in any natural setting, this is simply part of the backpacking and outdoor experience, and it's a small trade-off for the immense beauty and solitude you'll find here. Moose Creek Reviews
This is a nice backcountry campground in the trees on the east side of the creek. Creek has plenty of water. Campsite has a lot of logs to sit on although fires are not allowed. Plenty of level spots to set up tents. It is a very quiet and peaceful location since it is far from anyone else. When I was there the mosquitoes were pretty bad but that is just part of backpacking.
