Moonshine Creek Campground Reviews
Super cute, QUIET campground. A little tight but so well maintained and absolutely beautiful. The bathhouse, bathrooms and grounds were extremely clean. The tenters cabin was small but exactly what we wanted. Really cute! We have lots of loud, younger kids… no complaints! But we did feel like we may have disturbed the peace just a bit. We’d go back for a relaxing weekend, though!

May 28, 2025 · isabel maloAs a family of four with two special needs kids we go camping every other month for a few days at different parks and places. This , hands down was one of the nicest, well planned parks we have stayed at. From the entrance and all through the park the grounds , roads and sites were clean and well kept. All sites (even tent) had running water and electric hook up. A beautiful stream ran through the park and there were even two spots you could enter. The water was cold 🥶 but just beautiful. There was even a waterfull (kinda 🤔) directly next to our site aka "waterfall site " 😁 I would maybe recommend some how impoving the look of the giant pipe through the hill look 😂 😂 😂 like bushes...like up some rocks to hide it ....something 😦So upon checking in after a four hour drive with two toddlers I will say I didn't feel the warmest welcome I ever felt when first walking in. I also thought it was weird while go over the rules , we kept repeating the no kids in sanctuary part like 3 times. Witch wonderfully is set up so the entrance is right next to our site 😂 it was hard to keep the kids from wanting to explore but thankfully there was a little bridge that had water running through it that was very entertaining for spectrum kids ❤️We did have a golf cart man come by when we had set up a hammock . I had missed that when I checked the rules on the website. When he came up and explained he was def cool about it but also kinda over explained a little bit 😂 like we get it protect the trees....ya know the ones with site signs nailed/screwed into them 😂 Pretty big deal for us cause we have a non verbal , eloping, not into much son that loves to swing more than anything ❤️ 3 nights without one ..not really an option. So we were able to rig it up from my car to the table and no one bothered us the rest of the time 😊 All in all I def would recommend this park and a visit . Maybe not the most kid friendly but there is a good amount to to around the area as well. Great little office/store. Very clean and functioning facilities across the board.
Apr 26, 2025 · Justin HintzMoonshine Creek Campground is absolutely the BEST!!! Super clean sites!! Super clean bathrooms and showers! The folks who work there are so friendly. At 10p the camp basically goes to sleep, no noisy neighbors. We will absolutely be back!!! Thank you!!
Jun 22, 2025 · Kellyann BowmanWhat a special place. So peaceful. Great people run this campground. Made special memories with the family. Their little store is so reasonable on prices a real treat after all the tourist prices around the park. The only problem with this campground is it is too far from Kansas. Already miss it
