Miners' Camping Reviews
Solo traveler, good lighting, water access almost in my campground, bathhouse a short walk, cheaper than staying in the park, close to places to eat, the electric at my site worked well and was able to just plug in an extension cord.Only drawback that kept this from 5stars was the bathhouse being creepy.Overall I felt safe here and slept well. Thank you
Mar 07, 2025 · Sabrina E2 forty year old adults, 1 four year old, and a dog. We stayed 2 nights in the 2 bdrm cabin. It has wifi, TV with things to watch comfy couch and 2 gliders, 2 beds that were adequate. There are some basic kitchen supplies and a grill if you want to save money and cook. Bring your own towels, napkins, ppr towels as those are not provided. Fire ring out back with a nice creek. You can tell people have RV's there full time, they are friendly enough. We will definitely rent it again next time we come down. It's nothing fantastic, but it is cozy and safe.
Mar 15, 2025 · Lynn FrickerWe used the primitive campground. Nice area. Clean and well kept. Only wish was that they unlock the water pump at the campground so we didn't have to walk to the restrooms to fill up our canteens.
Apr 16, 2025 · Sean MartinStay away, the bathrooms here are terrible, scary terrible. Looks exactly as it's a Hollywood movie set for a scary horror movie.Would not recommend unless you have absolutely nowhere else. Even then the side of the road would probably be safer.Only redeeming feature is its close distance to the state park
Mar 19, 2025 · Balbo ShroomsPerfect location for Diamond Hunters! We rented the Miners Cabin ( 4 adults, 2 dogs) and found it to be very nice! Well appointed with comfy quality furniture, clean comfy beds and a recently updated bathroom. The outside could use a bit of maintainance, but for the purpose of our visit, it was more than adequate! Bring your own towels because they are not provided. There's a small collection of mining tools on the screened in front porch. The fire pit outside was very helpful in relaxing after a long, fruitless day of diamond hunting!
