Millis Family Campground

804 Mullet Ln, Sneads Ferry, NC 28460, USA

4.0
We really enjoyed our 2 years at Millis Campground and we really miss it so much. Unfortunately the owner would not enforce dog leash rules so dogs were allowed to run loose. I was attacked 2 times by dog who was after my little dog in my arms. One of the times I was on my porch when the dog came on porch growling with hair standing up on his back. The other time I was in my rocker in front of my camper and big dog jumped on me, his owner pulled him off me 3 times. The dog owner said he was not putting his dog on leash, he never has and never will. I had to sell our camper after that because I was afraid I was going to be hurt really bad. I couldn't enjoy going and being outside my camper with my dog, being afraid dogs would attack. We really miss the beautiful view of the New River though. - Linda McKeel
