It was a beautiful campground, and it definitely worth the stay. 10/10!
Jun 16, 2025 · Baylee StackStayed at the Eagle Nest cabin with 6 friends. Enough space for 7. Great location for all kinds of activities in the Yankton/Louis and Clark Rec area. Cabin is neat and clean. Felt private. Beds were firm, could use and updating but good enough. Nice private fire pit on site. Camp ground looked crowded but we did not use that area. Would stay again because it’s good location and accessible to the area. FYI - there is a Virgin Mary shrine adjacent to campground. The church bells ring on the hour every hour during day light.
Jun 13, 2023 · Danielle DeVitoWe had an amazing stay at Midway Gulch. They upgraded us on our cabins for free to accommodate another guest who wanted our cabin (smaller) and got us into a bigger cabin for free. They keep their cabins super clean and they are very friendly and accommodating. I would recommend staying here!
Sep 26, 2019 · Ashley WohlersWe didn’t even stay. The pictures on the website were overly exaggerated. When I called last fall and asked how close it was to the lake I was told “Lewis & Clark Lake is a couple of blocks away from the cabins”. Across the highway and many blocks away is more accurate. The cabins had no outside covering, were surrounded by RV’s, and no privacy whatsoever. We had to forfeit our deposit but there was no way we were staying there.
Jun 11, 2019 · Laura AllenWe arrived a little early and they let us right in. Very clean, love the bathroom(very clean) right across from our cabin and laundry facilities only cost $1 to wash and $1 to dry so you don't have to take home a bunch of wet and dirty camping clothes and towels!! Super nice cabin and grounds keepers are so nice and helpful!! So glad we chose this sight!! We will definitely be back!!
