Very quiet. Nice sites with the Pestigo River running right along side. You can ride your ATV from your campsite to the trails. No electricity, no dump station (that is at Goodwin Park), pit toilets, hand water pump. The campground is in very thick woods, so be prepared for bugs. Ranger was really nice as were all the people we met in the area. - Michael Ales

Location and Accessibility

McClintock Campground is situated at W14218 County Rd I, Athelstane, WI 54104, USA, within the expansive and naturally rich Marinette County. Its location is particularly advantageous for Wisconsin residents looking to explore the state's Northwoods region. The campground is nestled in "very thick woods" along the scenic Peshtigo River, providing a deeply immersive natural setting.

Accessibility to McClintock Campground is generally straightforward for visitors familiar with rural Wisconsin roads. It's located approximately 4 miles south of Goodman Park on Parkway Road (County I), a route that is typically well-maintained.
