Marsh Campground

Elkhart Lake, WI 53020, USA

4.0
Overall a very nice place to stay! Very pretty tall trees in the campground. Not sure where the trash bins are, so we took our trash to the next campground with us.We ordered food to go from the restaurant (tip: call well ahead, they get busy). The food was phenomenal and prices are very reasonable. Omg the cheese curds!! We are from Arizona, and this was the first time we have had the pleasure of eating real Wisconsin curds. Mmm!Mosquitoes are THICK - make sure you have bug spray.Showers are really nice, but could be cleaned a little more frequently. There was a giant wad of hair (like the size of a rat lol) for days in one of the women’s showers.Word of warning - most campers do not seem to respect the “keep your dogs leashed” rule, and nobody seems to enforce it. As responsible owners of small and vulnerable dogs, this was frustrating and nerve-wracking.Oh, and the tower is a fun climb if you have the cardio for it!! - Jen Phillips
