Marsh Campground Reviews
Overall a very nice place to stay! Very pretty tall trees in the campground. Not sure where the trash bins are, so we took our trash to the next campground with us.We ordered food to go from the restaurant (tip: call well ahead, they get busy). The food was phenomenal and prices are very reasonable. Omg the cheese curds!! We are from Arizona, and this was the first time we have had the pleasure of eating real Wisconsin curds. Mmm!Mosquitoes are THICK - make sure you have bug spray.Showers are really nice, but could be cleaned a little more frequently. There was a giant wad of hair (like the size of a rat lol) for days in one of the women’s showers.Word of warning - most campers do not seem to respect the “keep your dogs leashed” rule, and nobody seems to enforce it. As responsible owners of small and vulnerable dogs, this was frustrating and nerve-wracking.Oh, and the tower is a fun climb if you have the cardio for it!!
Jun 16, 2025 · Jen PhillipsGreat place to visit. Fishing and hunting opportunities, Three Guys and a Grill has great food and service. Plenty of parking, picnic areas to enjoy an afternoon with family and friends. There a playground for the little kids. Public restrooms and pets are allowed, but watch for the wide variety of wildlife that calls the marsh their home.
Apr 03, 2024 · Brian WilliamsNice little campground ran by the restaurant. Awesome food at the lodge
Jun 21, 2022 · Nick HoeftMade our reservation in May and late-May the County decided to close off the Sheboygan River and therefore the bridge connecting the campground to the restaurant to the bathroom/shower rooms was closed. Had to drive 1 mile around in order to get to either. No enforcement of anything there as there were numerous guests of campers who parked their camper just off the campground road. Motorcyclists speeding through campground on a closed road to get to the tower. Site 44 is way too short for anyone to get a camper into it. I live in Brown County and they do their County campgrounds right...Sheboygan not-so-much. We attempted to eat at the 3 guys burger and fries restaurant and i had called earlier and they said they didn't take reservations. So, we got there Saturday and there was a 2 hour wait and asked "for future reference" to make a reservation next time. Not sure if this place understands the levity of their comments on the phone.
