Manatee Hammock Campground Reviews
Beautiful spot. Our reserved campsite was changed when we arrived. Just made me laugh because multiple reviews said it would happen. Our original reserved spot stayed empty so not sure of the reasoning. There are local cats there. Dog park is large and right on the coast. Very pretty. Picked up some leftover dog waste in addition to our own pup's. Some people......eye roll. Bathrooms were pretty warm and sticky, but we did go in June. Laundry machines worked well. $2.50 in quarters to wash and $2.50 to dry.
Jul 01, 2025 · Leanie KiteNo-frills, but a great alternative to a hotel if you're visiting the space center. Very convenient location. Tent camping sites are a little small, but I solo camp so it's not a big deal.If you're looking to view a launch, the fishing pier is up there with the best of them. Especially good for nighttime launches.
Jul 08, 2025 · E.C ShockleyStayed for 2 nights. Pool, washer/dryers, clean/maintained park. We have a 43' toy hauler that was manageable to get into their pull through slots. Little tight with trees but we managed at 2am with security guards awesome Flashlight skillz to guide us and set up. Little high for nightly stay but location and quality of park its not absurd. Would stay again if in the area
May 30, 2025 · Chase KirkNice campground with clean facilities and friendly staff. Right on the river so if you’re tent camping like me be prepared for a little condensation (bring a quick dry towel). Beautiful perfectly clear view of the launch pad so if there’s rockets going up you’re all set.The location itself is good not great (lots of traffic from US1) so you’re not really isolated but you kinda get used it, sorta like background noise.Close to drive or bike to various stores, some restaurants and of course Cape Canaveral / Titusville area. I would definitely stay again.
Mar 19, 2025 · Dave Wittthe worst campground i have ever been to. The first ladies were nice, checked our car and gave us our parking lot. But the blonde haired "karen" refusee to let us extend our stay because in her words " the other ladies do not work here that often and shouldn't have allowed us to stay here in the first place". The bathrooms are DISGUSTING - you feel as if you're sleeping on the highway oh and at the airport too - the train will honk 3 times a night so have fun getting sleep. Not coming back ever again.
