Mack Landing Campground Reviews
Mack Landing Campground is located within the Apalachicola National Forest in the Florida panhandle. It’s a small, first-come-first-serve, forested campground with a friendly camp host, pit toilets, and boat ramp access to the Ochlocknee River, but not much else. Just the way we like it!
Apr 19, 2022 · Rob CampelloneQuiet, pretty spot by the river. We were only campers there last night. $10 per night. Pretty unclear where to camp though. We pulled into a spot that had a camping sign but the ranger came the next morning and said the sign was “wrong”. Regardless, a beautiful quiet site, although we were here Christmas week.

Jul 01, 2025 · Nathan JohnsonVery secluded camping on the Ochlockonee River. Picnic tables and a fire ring under nice trees. There is well water and composting toilets, bring your own power. About 10 campsites, a few trails and a boat ramp but not much else to do but relax. The fee had been raised to $5 per night on the honor system, never saw the host but I was only there one day.
Nov 17, 2019 · Bruce TurnerQuiet out of the way small campground. 8 sites, $3/night. Non-flush bathrooms but well maintained. Camp host on site in February/March while we were there. Some spacious sites good for bigger Rvs, some we smaller. We easily for our 33' fifthwheel. Road out to campground is good, could get a motorhome out there no problem. Good water available for filling tanks, but no dump station. No cell service without boosting, and even then not very good. Plan to be "disconnected" out here. Park service checks and picks up trash bins regularly. Enjoyed our time here :)
