Louis Lake Campground Reviews
Great campground. Some paid some free spots. The road in is gravel. We got a trailer down there. Good lake access. It was very windy so we didn't kayak. Good access to offroad trails. We took the sxs to Christina lake. Very rugged and beautiful. Other trails near by are amazing with great views and some wildlife like antelope and moose. There's Hawks and osprey in the area. Plenty of granite hills to climb and explore.
June 30 · Cyrus BuecheAn absolute blast, the grounds manager was amazingly helpful for every little question we had. He even helped us out when our car battery died.
July 30 · Connor Whitten-ShinnIt is a really nice campground if you can find a spot to park your trailer or camper. Louis Lake has a great sandy beach on one side of it. Great place to take your kids to play or just Sun tan if you do that. During peak summer hours the lake and the campgrounds are packed. Pick a time other than holidays because your chances of getting a spot is not very likely. Good fishing sometimes and you occasionally see a moose or two. There is a resident Osprey that is always snatching fish out of the lake. It's a very unique experience if you have never witnessed it.
September 10 · Michael BroadheadThe only problem is that people will run their generators late at night and early in the morning.
August 28 · KW WILLIAMSAmazing place and amenities. We had a blast and highly recommend. Easy drive from Lander.
