3.0
The negative reviews are accurate ! The positive ones ? well I just dont know how anyone could enjoy this place. A couple summers ago I cked out Lost Burro in anticipating tent camping there for a night or two. Someone with a chunk of $ needs to buy this property, clean out all the seasonal and full timers. Regrade sites. Install completely new infrastructure AND then the place will be a true destination camping stop. Because from what I saw this CG is sadly not managed well at all. The tent campsites were up on a grassy hill, not very level, not much privacy other than being spaced out w. a plastic porta john or you walk down to the 'unreal' bathrooms. RV /Trailer sites in the lower area near the 'office' are sketchy w/ very run down trailers, trash and junk everywhere. Seasonal or Full timers are living there so beware. Overall Campground not well maintained. I'm sure the manager or whoever runs this place will respond to this review like they did to the others. Read all of their responses and you will get a good sense of why the place is to be avoided ! And of course Lost Burro replies and accuses me of "not following rules / getting kicked out " ! How could that be true when I never got a site , only looked around the campground for about 20 mins and left because it was a rural ghetto. - S P
