Lone Mesa Group Campground Reviews
Right next to the Navajo Rocks trail system, so that was nice to have easy access there. The campsite was fine. Not much shade anywhere though, so make sure you bring something to give you shade if it’s going to be hot out.
Jul 04, 2024 · Eli SleskIt was overall a good experience. If you're looking for shade, this is not the campground for you. But it's a good central location for a lot of major mountain bike trails. I'd camp here again.
Apr 08, 2023 · Carrie BohnsackPrimitive campground on the outskirts of Moab. Not much in the way of shade, but a beautiful place to watch the sun rise or enjoy the sunset. A lot of folks will camp with RV’s while there, but we chose to tent it on a young men’s adventure. We were able to enjoy the beauty of Moab during the day, and head back to the seculsion of Lone Mesa at night.
Oct 10, 2018 · Chris TwittyLone Mesa is a treat. It's outside the hustle and bustle of Moab and has direct access to great mountain biking, 4x4 trails, and hiking. Among many other things the bathrooms were extraordinarily clean, the group campsites were spacious. I feel like I should get a bulleted list of great things to say about this spot but I'll leave the rest to you to uncover for yourself. Go... Do... It...You won't be disappointed.
Sep 23, 2020 · Nick UtheGreat group camping area, well maintained by BLM staff. Short quick hike to Navajo Rocks.
