★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Beautiful area with large gorgeous campsites. There is cell service in places here too which is helpful. Low review because we paid much higher camp fees than other sites because of the many flush toilets they advertise. Staying here right now and the toilets are not working. They replaced an area that normally has 6 flush toilet bathrooms with ONE honey bucket portable for everyone in campground to share! It’s been AWFUL. Also it is right next to the highway and you hear the traffic day and night.
May 31 · Marty JohnsonNice campsite that is well taken care of. Bathrooms near the campsite didn't work but it was a short drive/ walk to get water and flushing toilets. I do wish the fire pit designs were different as it seems to force you to build a bigger fire in order to feel any heat as all the heat goes up rather than out. Decent dark skies as well but not quite dark enough to see the Milky Way. Definitely lots of traffic noise but it wasn't an issue for me.
August 07 · Skyler Van LeeuwenAwesome campground. We were in spot #2 Loop A and it was a nice site. Everything seems newer here from the concrete to tables etc. Traffic noise was present as they said, but you could easily tune it out. There is a decent set of marked hiking trails around, which was way cool. Amy the camp host was awesome and did a great job. The bathrooms were amazingly clean.
August 18 · Nick HowellVery comfortable and nice campground. The hosts were great and made the rounds, selling wood and other things you might need for the stay. It was a very pleasant overnight as we passed through. My only problem was the highway noise. Of course that isn’t exactly the campground’s fault, but it was a bit tough to sleep with the noise. The bathrooms by the site I booked were out of order, but there was a porta potty out front which was clean and maintained. I’m not sure I would choose it for an extended camping trip, unless I booked a site further from the highway that was quieter. But overall, it was a good spot and a nice stay for what I needed.
August 16 · Sean VillagraciaWe had a great time our stay at Lodgepole loop A. Mike and Amy were great! Their hospitality was awesome! The campground was clean and well taken care of. The vegetation along the side of the road was trimmed nicely, and the bathrooms were cleaner than I had seen them in the years I have been camping there! We will definitely be back.
