Little Bennett Campground Loop A Tent Area

Clarksburg, MD 20871, USA

4.0
This should be 4.75 stars, really.Would have given it 5 stars if it wasn't for the site being so uneven. It was very sloped where the hookups were located, and it was impossible with our current supplies for us to get level in our 42' triple axel. Couldn't get out of the pull through site, either, and had to back out due to the roads being super narrow and a post being right where you'd cut your turn out, We're just too big.Other than that, the site was enormous, felt secluded, and the park was extremely well kept, beautiful, with nice hiking trails. We were only there a couple of nights, so we couldn't enjoy everything, but a must do if you want to visit D.C. The Metro picks up a short drive away and is an easy straight shot to the city. - N L

Promotions or Special Offers

As part of the Montgomery Parks system, Little Bennett Campground Loop A Tent Area's approach to "promotions or special offers" typically differs from that of private, commercially driven campgrounds. Instead of frequent discount codes or package deals, the value proposition often lies in accessible pricing, seasonal programming, and the inherent benefits of being within a well-managed regional park.

While specific, real-time promotions are best confirmed directly with Montgomery Parks, potential offers or value-adds for Marylanders might include:

  • Standardized, Publicly Available Rates: Campground rates are usually fixed and transparent, available on the Montgomery Parks website. These rates are generally set to provide affordable access to outdoor recreation for the public.
  • Seasonal Programming/Events: Regional parks often host special events, interpretive programs, or guided hikes throughout the year, especially during peak seasons. While not a discount, these free or low-cost activities enhance the camping experience. Check the Little Bennett Regional Park calendar for any such offerings.
  • Senior/Resident Discounts: Montgomery Parks may offer discounted rates for Montgomery County residents or senior citizens. It's always advisable to inquire about these specific eligibility-based reductions when booking.
  • Off-Peak Season Value: Camping during the shoulder seasons (spring or fall) or weekdays can often provide a more peaceful experience at potentially lower rates, if applicable.
  • Bundle Offers (e.g., Park Passes): Sometimes, regional park systems offer annual passes that might provide benefits beyond just camping, though this would be for broader park access rather than specific camping discounts.

To get the most accurate and up-to-date information on any current booking policies, potential discounts for residents or seniors, or special seasonal programs, Marylanders should:

  • Visit the Montgomery Parks Website: The official website for Montgomery Parks (MontgomeryParks.org) will be the most reliable source for campground rates, reservation policies, and any applicable discounts.
  • Contact the Campground Directly: While a specific phone number for Loop A Tent Area isn't provided (as it's part of the larger campground), contacting the main Little Bennett Campground office or the Montgomery Parks reservation line would be the correct approach.

By checking official park resources, Marylanders can ensure they receive the most precise information regarding their camping trip at Little Bennett.
