Little Arsenic Springs Campground Reviews
Great sites, beautiful views. Access to lots of good trails for all abilities. Fire pits, covered picnic tables, clean restrooms. Windy and chilly this early spring, with a mix of snow and bright sun over a few days. No water at any of the campgrounds at this time due to cracked well pipe that's expensive to repair.
Apr 20, 2025 · Anne CarrollRating the trail that starts at the campground. You descend graveled switch backs to the canyon floor and Rio Grande river. Gorgeous views and amazing geology.
Jan 29, 2024 · Brian WilsonWow! Just wow. This remote, rustic campground was a completely new experience for this Midwestern girl. When we went in June 2022, the sites were first-come-first-serve. I would caution folks who are from a lower altitude to be aware when hiking so that you do not feel faint, but the view was amazing! The bathroom was clean, but a porta-potty, so you will want a flashlight. We were on a tight schedule, but I wish I could have spent more time there.
Jun 29, 2022 · Maarja Melander;-) In the spirit of the original person who named the area after a toxic element.“Horrible campground. Water has arsenic. Super slow Att cell service. No big horned sheep. No fabulous views. Super noisy and full of litter! Stay away!”
Jul 13, 2023 · Carrie MtnSigh....more people need to spend time outdoors and here you will totally forget any woes you may have. Super clean pit toilet and sires are quite private. Get here early to snag an overlook site!
