★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We had the best family vacation at Little Arrow Outdoor Resort! The entire campground is beautiful, clean, and filled with everything you need for a fun and relaxing trip. The pool and hot tub were a big hit with our whole family, and the bathhouse was impressively clean and well-maintained.We loved renting a golf cart to explore the campground, and the hiking trail through the mountain offered gorgeous views and a peaceful escape into nature. Tubing on the river was one of our favorite activities—easy, fun, and surrounded by stunning scenery. The scenic drive to get there was the perfect start to our trip, and every part of our stay felt thoughtful and well taken care of. If you’re looking for a family-friendly spot with a mix of adventure and relaxation, Little Arrow is the place to go. Highly recommend—we’ll definitely be back!
June 25 · A WWe loved our stay at Little Arrow! Townsend was a great home base for our trip to the Smokey Mountains! It really is the peaceful side of the Smokies! Little Arrow was great! The pool area was so nice (but the cold plunge isn’t cold). The staff is very friendly and helpful! Our family of 4 (and a dog) stayed in a luxury glamping tent. With two teenage kids and our dog crate it was cramped, so if we return to the Smokies again we’ll look into staying in a cabin or tiny home so we have more room to spread out (and not have to worry about putting all food stuff in a non-bear accessible place at night). Little Arrow is great and has lots of amenities and is a very nice camping resort!
July 23 · Katy SemanThe luxury tent was in a beautiful location and well stocked with (almost) everything we needed. Little Arrow has extra items so just call ahead and they can let you know if they have what you need in order to pack more efficiently. It was really nice to be in an environment where there were just enough amenities, so we could choose what to take advantage of. It’s also nice to be away from the craziness of Gatlinburg yet still be close enough to the ‘major’ part of the Smokies. We hope we can go back again!
July 20 · Chris KorbulyWe stayed 5 nights in a primitive glamping tent and traveled with 3 other families who brought campers (11 kids!). I can’t say enough good things about this campground/resort. The accommodations and attention to small details is unmatched. One thing that really struck me was how clean the bedding/pillows were (we needed to remove the sheets one night after a toddler accident. The staff was helpful in getting replacement bedding). A food truck and ice cream truck were brought in one day which was wonderful! Someone came through selling fresh produce. Free coffee until 11am and a 24/7 air conditioned WiFi cafe with cute coffee cups and creamer in the fridge. We prefer Townsend when we go to the smokies because of how much less busy it is. I couldn’t believe that the national park was steps away from Little Arrow (literally we walked to take a pic at the sign). The river and pool were so much fun after mornings hiking or biking. Really really enjoyed our trip here. I am hesitant to leave such a glowing review because I want to keep this place all to myself.
July 21 · Molly McMillionWe only live about an hour away, but we camp at Little Arrow 2-3 times a year because we love it so much. They offer so many things that you never even have to leave the property—from dining, swimming, enjoying the hot tub, floating down the river, hiking, and all of the planned activities, it’s a vacay all on its own. The campsites are spacious, very well kept and easy to get into. The specific directions they send on how to get to your exact site from the main road is awesome! Can I say we love love love this place!
