Lazy Lions Campground Reviews
Like the area and campground, one staff member was very friendly and helpful, the other not so much. Nice and quiet.
May 26, 2025 · Ron DennisMy sister and I drove from Texas to Vermont to enjoy autumn in New England. Our Vermont stay was here at Lazy Lions. Our site was magnificent. The campground was decorated for fall. The bathrooms were clean and everyone was friendly. I didn't need to use the showers since my Casita has one. I recommend Lazy Lions to anyone heading this way.
Oct 08, 2024 · Maureen GrayLazy Lions was our Vt stop during a 3 week trip doing New York and New England. Not knowing the area I picked it for a central location to things I planned on doing. That worked out well. Things we did… Rock of Ages, Ben and Jerry’s, Stowe Gondola, Cider Mill, Morse Maple syrup, and the Cabot store. There is a bike path near that we would have liked to ride but ran out of time. The campground was clean, peaceful, landscaped nicely. They accommodate every type of camper, tent, even had cabins. If in the area would definitely stay again.
Jul 31, 2024 · Julie IVery unfriendly and not helpful at all. Drove all the way from Phoenix and told to leave as he considered our mix German shepherd a aggressive dog. Suggest he list the animal breeds so clear up any confusion. Then he tells us we need to read the web site better. What a jerk. A ZERO rating. Made one phone call to the RV site down the road and was told to come right over. Limehurst Lake Campground down the road was friendly and very helpful.
Sep 07, 2024 · charles phillipsWe were in the area earlier than expected due to no good place to stop with the camper on the way from our previous campground. First thing the grouchy guy said is you’re early. Then got charged $10 extra for the hour. Campground roads are horrendous. Was very quiet though
