Worst campground we have camped at so far. We camped here in early April and it was a rainy week/weekend. The site was so wet and muddy! We had to wear boots outside and we just kept sinking in the mud. There was trash at the entrance of our site that my husband cleaned up. The water was brown and smelled like river water. We didn’t shower at all and used bottled water for everything including brushing our teeth. I was told the water was just turned back on in the bathhouse and they weren’t cleaned yet. We could still use the bathroom but not the showers if we wanted. I walked in just to check it out and there is not enough cleaning that could be done to get that bathhouse back in order. Due to the time of year we went the campground was pretty quiet but we were placed right next to a camper with a huge dog in it and he barked constantly at us and our dog through the window. Most campers there are old and look pretty beat and sketchy (if you know what I’m hinting at) so it’s not an attractive campground at all. The only positive was free WiFi. I would not recommend this campground and will never go back. - Kristin Kelley

While Lazy Acres Campground might not advertise large-scale, publicly listed promotions in the same way a major chain might, their pricing structure and approach suggest a focus on value and flexibility for their campers. Given their family-owned nature and emphasis on long-term relationships, you should inquire directly about the following:

  • Seasonal Rates: It is highly likely they offer attractive seasonal rates for those looking to stay for an entire spring, summer, or fall season, which can represent significant savings for repeat visitors or those seeking a consistent home base.
  • Monthly and Weekly Discounts: Beyond daily rates, inquire if there are reduced rates for booking by the week or month. This is a common practice for campgrounds that cater to extended stays.
  • Long-Term Stays: As some campers appear to be more permanent or seasonal residents, they likely have established policies and pricing for very long-term stays, which can offer the best value for frequent visitors.
  • Direct Booking Incentives: Sometimes, contacting the campground directly via phone or email can reveal unadvertised specials or the best available rates, especially if you have flexible dates or specific needs.

The best way to understand the current promotions or special offers available at Lazy Acres Campground is to contact Gail and Rich directly. Their friendly and helpful approach suggests they would be happy to discuss options that best suit your camping plans and budget.
