Laurel Park Camping Reviews
Stopped for a night on our way to South Dakota. We arrived a little late in the day due to stops and flooding detours, expecting not to find a spot. But we were the only ones there for the night. Free electrical hookup, and a quiet night with a little rain. Nice place.
May 17, 2024 · HighwayknightSuper nice little camping area!! Level cement pads. 30A hookups. Great playground for the kids right outside. Dog friendly. There is good running water by the playground. Bathrooms were locked in late April, but are close by and look nice. Cute little town two blocks away and excellent food at Knuckleheads. Love it here!
Apr 30, 2022 · Daniel PothierWas working in this town for the week and needed a place to charge my electric car as there are no chargers anywhere nearby. Nobody was here camping and office was closed so I dropped money in the dropbox and started charging. Not long after, I got a notification saying my vehicle stopped charging, so I returned over there to find it unplugged from the 30A. I plugged back in and 5 minutes later the service was shut off to all spots. No one to talk to, I left. Seems like some sort of hate towards electric cars coming from someone who works the campground. Enjoy my 10 bucks. At least Wayne campground was nice enough to let me charge for free, otherwise I would have been stranded. Also, enjoy your new high school gym. I helped build it.
