Last Chance Camp Equine Rest Stop Reviews
This is a very good campsite. It is quite and most close to nature. We only camped a night and started to love this place. The host offers free firewood. The shower facility is tiny yet very comfortable! We can adjust the heater to change water temp. The shower room is so warm in such cold place. We really love it.There's a big group of elk living in the other side of the road. There are some bugs but almost can be neglected. The hosts there are very friendly. Not mentioning it is price efficient, only $25 per night for a tent, with shower/restroom offered, we are super happy with it.
Jul 17, 2022 · Alice SFantastic! Skeptical of other reviews at first. Staff answering the phone very courteous at 7pm on a Friday evening as we were passing through Forks. Set amongst other farms. When we arrived there was only one other camper van on site. A handful of others joined later that night. Very quiet, creek runs behind a few of the sites which was very relaxing, and there were Elk hanging around the property. Plenty of room for our child to play as well. Highly recommend! We have had other more beautiful campgrounds but none this relaxing. And yes, cash only. So remember to have when you arrive. Firewood is $5 and shower is $5/person.
Jul 26, 2022 · A CI was traveling alone and nervous about arriving at 10pm, when I arrived the owner Veronica was there with a flashlight to help guide me in! Felt very welcome during my stay, the location is easy to find and conveniently close to town. Waking up to see horses on one side and an elk herd on the other was awesome, and the camp was clean and comfortable. I had lots of great conversations with the neighbors and Veronica and look forward to visiting again!
Jun 25, 2019 · Victoria RiellyMost affordable campsite anywhere nearby. That’s not for lack of quality. Two clean porta potties, Beautiful open field for camping by the hosts house. Maybe only one other camper at a time in the two weeks we spent here. Our dogs were welcome. Fire pit for our tent spot. Veronica the host made us feel safe and welcome, brought us wood when we needed it. Just gorgeous scenery. Started to feel like home. Could hear the elk outside our tent a few times.
Sep 25, 2021 · Hot CheetoThis place was great. Veronica was truly a gem with a lightning smile. She was kind and had a comfortable campsite for us Twilight tourists. The only thing I would say is you are very, very close to other people and our neighbors were pretty rude. Not the fault of the campsite, but just a warning for those coming through! Great place to stay and the views are amazing!
