We had a very disappointing stay at the campgrounds as a family of four at the end of June. Too noisy and too crowded to relax in nature. The campground was filled with large groups, often 12-20 people gathering at a campsites and talking well past quiet hours. Multiple campsites blared music or ran their cars for hours to charge their phones. My husband was yelled and sweared at for asking one site to turn off their car. After being kept up until midnight by talkers and screaming children one night, we awoke (including our 4-year-old) at 6:45am to a car alarm. No rest on either end.The beach was also packed on the weekend with parties, with lots of litter. The trash was mostly fresh, as the staff must clean up regularly, but it was disheartening to see and emblematic of the disrespect we observed. If you are part of a large family and friend reunion and want to blast music, this is the place for you. All others beware. - Sarah
