Had a great time camping here, lots of trees, campsites are spread enough apart, nice picnic area, boat launch area is nice, small little camping area was prefect.
May 28, 2025 · zach rStopped by this campground years ago during a hot spell with wild fires in the area. Wasn't impressed. Came back this time to stay for two nights and absolutely loved it. Even better, my boys loved it. Campsite spacing is awesome and not crowded. New bathrooms were wonderful. Verizon cell service is non-existent which promoted the outdoor experience. Note, there are a few random spots where you could text from.Sunset looked spectacular through the trees, but sunrise was even better. Will definitely stay here again.
Sep 25, 2024 · PJ HansenDry camping with our RV. Bathrooms were clean every day and the Ranger was friendly. The water access for swimming was a nice swimming area for the kids. It’s a bit harder for smaller kids to get in and out as it has a cement wall that goes up to the grass area. There’s some cement stairs on one end though. The water was surprisingly warm for River water, the kids enjoyed their floaters and standup paddles. The Gazebos got taken quick but there was plenty of shade to sit under. Overall a good camping weekend! Site #9 was a nice spot away from other campers.
Aug 24, 2024 · Juliana SotoSmall, quaint campground. Beautiful views of the lake. Boat launch area, swimming area. Short trail from top of camping area down to boat launch area. Very clean. Very quiet. Bathrooms, showers, handful of water spouts throughout. Not a lot of camping spots, which makes it perfect and they are spread out nicely. Even had a few pieces of cut wood by the fire pit. Picnic tables at each spot. Handicap camping spot, campers, tents. Tons of parking. Nice place to go to getaway but yet close to home. If you're a reader this place is your place. If you like to camp without a lot of noise from others, this place is for you. If you don't mind not having great cell service, this place is for you. If you hike while camping, this is not your place.
Jun 03, 2024 · Jeri YorkWe had a group of about 20 girls and 5 adults and stayed in the group site for 4 days. There was plenty of space for several tents and parking for several cars. The view from the group site is amazing! I was disappointed, though, that the pavilion was as small as it was and only had 2 tables -- not enough for 25 people to all sit down to eat. It was nice to have water and electricity in the site but the water created a large puddle very quickly. The closest restroom was a pit toilet about 100 yards away and the flush toilets and showers were much further, though they were nice. It's a bit of a walk down the hill to the water, but the lake was warm and very clear! The swim area was great. We left the campsite spotless but we left it much cleaner than we found it. Same with the swim area.
