Lake Jennings Campground Reviews
I went camping at Lake Jennings with my fiance and her family and it was excellent. The campground is cleaned and well maintained. The community showers were hot and clean and private. I've been to this campground before but it seems much improved. I went fishing on the shore and despite the limited access points, I managed to catch a nice trout even though the fishing was slow at that time. I caught a decent bass that was spawning that I released. The full moon was incredible.
May 09, 2025 · Santo DiegoAmazing staff. Everyone seemed happy to help. We stayed for 5 days 4 nights with a rented Cruise America RV. We had full hookups. We enjoyed our stay, felt very safe. The kids loved the playground.

Jun 14, 2025 · Dena FarleyWe were here Friday PM - Sunday AM.Staff at the check-in station were very nice and helpful. Stayed at spot 19. Is a pull thru. Grounds are maintained very well. Was surrounded by trees, so I felt like we were almost alone. There is a playground near the site with kids playing on it all day. Don't have a view of the lake, but there is a small preserve with a pond that you do have a view of. There was some traffic going buy till late at night. Overall, it was a fairly peaceful weekend while we were at the camp. Had things to do in the area, so I was not there during the day too much.
Aug 27, 2023 · Jarred StJohnWe stayed at spot 45 with a tent. It was surrounded by cactus. LThe first night was alright really beautiful and not too miserable but we slept with black ants all night didn’t realize till we woke up that they found a way in. Definitely neat to see the wildlife but we went on the lake to fish with a boat and nothing bit except for the plants in the lake 🥲 the boats are also covered in ants that’s how bad the ants are there. They know it’s an issue but they haven’t found a way to resolve it yet. If you book a Saturday you have to book the whole weekend if I’m not mistaken. We went Friday and left today because it was 104 really wished we stayed tonight too since I paid for it but it’s too hot to stay and not be able to swim in the lake since it’s a lake they use for drinking. Aside from the ants and no biting fish, the young ladies at the kiosk coming in are nice and helpful. The items there are a little pricey at the kiosk $11 for sunscreen 😬
