Reservations are highly recommended, especially during peak season (typically July through Labor Day), and can be made through the official ReserveAmerica website or their call center. Pricing varies based on the type of site (shoreline vs. off-water, tent vs. RV capacity) and whether you are a New York State resident or out-of-state. For example, standard rates might be around $28-$30 per night, with a small surcharge for non-New York residents. It's always best to check the ReserveAmerica website for the most current rates and availability, as well as specific booking windows (reservations can often be made up to 9 months in advance). While there are no promotional codes, the "offer" here is the exceptional value and well-maintained facilities provided by a state park, giving New Yorkers an affordable way to access premier Adirondack camping.

Jun 06, 2025 · John DietzI was there once a long time ago. It was a State Park, and Campground then. A beautiful place indeed. Rest rooms were okay, plenty of potable water. Fire pits were handy as were picnic tables at each campsites. The picnic area near the beach is an amazing place for stargazing. One moonless night there I saw trees throwing shadows by the light of the Milky Way.
