Lake Bomoseen KOA Holiday Reviews
I visited this RV park yesterday in hopes of 1 day renting a seasonal space, But upon arriving it looked OK.The lady at the office was nice enough to let me go through and check the park out.I was so disappointed the spots are close together and if they where seasonal spots I couldn't tell if they where seasonal or if people where living there long term, it was untidy and of course the lake has so many overgrown I guest that's Lilly pads that they only cut a path for boats to come in and out, not what I was expecting from a lake view rv park. The lady said they would be celebrating 40 years there next year but have not invested in the park at all with updates, for the price I was looking for better, my son when in the men's restroom and he said it was not good. I was so looking forward to being at Lake Bomoseen KOA but not now, I have stayed at many KOA rv park but this was not a good one sorry but no thanks.
Jun 06, 2025 · Cynthia ReedWe were camping so the room 5 stars is for the camp site. It was very clean, level and a good amount of space. The staff was very kind and helpful, you can always locate someone if you need anything. We have enjoyed camping there several times and would recommend it to anyone. Families were enjoying the time as well as singles. As full as the campground was, it was quiet and very enjoyable.
Aug 27, 2024 · Lisa ProsperWould not recommend. Ladies bathroom had no soap all weekend told staff told they would take care of it (they didn’t) husband said one of the toilets wasn’t bolted to the floor if you have a bigger camper get full hook ups as dump station is a joke. Horrible seasonal people. Rudest staff I have ever met. Pool is tiny. My 3 year old was board with the water slide after like 2 runs very small dog park (but at least they had one) with a bench on the outside of the fence. The store closed at 7 so did the ice cream place so no after dinner treat. The mine golf and arcade were a joke. 10 out of 10 would not recommend waiting your time or money there.
Aug 04, 2024 · Charlotte ChurchUpon arriving to the KOA I wondered why it was so empty. I soon found out why. It is terrible!!!! Sites are very small, after set up we had about 6 feet of outdoor living space. We were surrounded by dense reed, but that didn't stop us from hearing the beeping of an alarm in the abandoned trailer next door (every 3 seconds for 4 days). Staff was unresponsive. The pool was dirty and extremely small and the splash pad was broken. The laundry facilities were open 24 hours but none of the machines worked. When reporting they were broken, we were rudely told they worked last night. Overall the campground is dirty and very poorly maintained. It was a terrible experience and would not recommend this campground to anyone.
Jul 12, 2024 · Kelly VillarThe place is nice, in the woods. Staff people are super nice.BUT! It’s full of bed bugs in the cabin number 4. Terrible. We had to call an exterminator only for our car after our stay there. My two kids, my husband and me are full of bites and my 4 months old had to go to the hospital because of bites infection in his face. Probably the worse post camping experience we had. The cabin was not clean. Be really careful and inspect the cabin before sleeping there!
