Krodel Park Campground Reviews
Nice city park for an overnight stay. Our pull-through site was pretty level and had a very nice view of the large pond. Nice quiet park for an early morning walk with the dog. If you have kids, there is a nice playground and splash park. The bathroom/shower house was old, but clean.
Jul 31, 2023 · Alicia Ade-KuhnVery friendly people run this campground. I wish more campgrounds were like this. We had a complete hookup everything was easy to hook up. We even had an escort to our site. Thank you so much for being so personable.
Sep 21, 2024 · mark dooleyOffice manager was so friendly and helpful, loved just chatting with her! Very convenient to town, beautiful lake and campsites were level and full service. Bathhouse was small and outdated, but that was fine. Was festival weekend and full, but everyone was so friendly and having a great time! Price to camp for the weekend was cheaper than what we would have paid to park!😄
Sep 23, 2023 · Frances MynkI am there right now tent camping. See are supposed to have access to the bathrooms. However, when I went to use them, the city workers had locked them and told me they close at 8. What kind of place closes their bathrooms?! I will not be staying here again. I suggest other tent campers avoid this place as well.
Jun 07, 2025 · Christopher RobinsonPlanning a trip through West Virginia in mid April. I found this campground and called in March and recording said they open on April 1. Called back three times after April 1. New recording said leave your name, number and reason for calling. After leaving three messages for them to call me back so I can reserve a campsite, I gave up. No phone call from them. Even emailed the Point Pleasant city clerk whose email was on the visit Point Pleasant website where I found this campground and no response. I emailed the visit mason county office of tourism. No response!!Maybe the campground is delayed in opening, but if so they should say so on recording. I found another campground nearby and the owner called back within 10 minutes to take my reservation. That's service! Repeatedly ignoring a customer is not!
