Koocanusa Resort & Marina Reviews
Beautiful location for our friends wedding! We didn't camp but several friends did. Nice play area for kids and the cabins seemed clean and well kept.
May 15, 2025 · Marina KempI've been camping here for +15yrs. Atmosphere and camping amenities are best in Montana on Lake Koocanusa. Restaurant has great family food. Bar is nice and the service is great. Marina for boats is a plus if you want to park your boat in the water. Or just use the boat launch daily. The beach can be small if the Govt holds the dam in a high water state. When the water is lower, the beach is wonderful. Permanent seasonal sites are present, but public sites are available. Would recommend this place to anyone wanting a great summer vacation. Lots of kids around the campground and the beach is great for adults and kids. Can't say enough about this place.
Aug 02, 2024 · Scott BrockwayWhat a beautiful spot. We never heard the other campers, everyone was polite and respectful. The campsites were large and surrounded my trees. The lake was beautiful. We had an amazing week at the beach/lake.
Jul 14, 2024 · A MIt was shocking to be placed right in the middle of permanent RV housing. The park is full with year round residents. Leaving some really terrible RV spots. lots of dogs running around some left out on leads all night long in 30° weather which was infuriating. kids everywhere. noise till wee hours. it was shocking, sadly as it isn't a fantastic location. The permanent residents get together and drink barbecue and just loud it is quite rude. Perhaps they should make folks aware of the permanent housing situation in there. We didn't stay the whole time and we will not be going back. Customer service was great at the marina, in the store. we didn't go to the bar it was too loud and just a big party there with all the local residents. Not a vacation vib at all! Huge disappointment!
