However, other reviews contradict this, stating the bathrooms were clean and showers were hot. Killens Pond State Park Campground Entrance Reviews
The good: very peaceful at night and they offer discounts on the Passport America list. The bad: the price is still high for what they offer. The single shower house has not very warm push button showers. The ugly: camp hosts were not friendly at all! No waving, even when we waved at them. No Hello, No smiles, just a complete lack of hospitality or warmth. Also, someone opened our trailer door while here, but we think they were just inebriated and it was an error.
Oct 04, 2024 · Chris BloomfieldNice campground, lots of things for kids. They have a playground, a large field with a baseball backstop, a sand volleyball court and good bike riding too. The bathrooms were clean and the showers were hot. The hike around the pond was nice and they have paddle boats and I saw people with Kayaks. I enjoyed the campground.
Oct 22, 2024 · Di PearsonReally nice campground, very shady and beautiful in the fall. Hardly anyone there in mid October. Sites are spacious and there’s a nice nature trail to walk around the pond. We had water and electric at our site and there is a dump station on your way out. Showers could use some updating, but otherwise we’re clean. Cell signal is 2 bars LTE with Verizon. Would stay again if in the area.
Oct 21, 2022 · LaurenThe cabins are absolutely adorable! My husband and I took our 5 kids (ages 7-16) this weekend, and even though it rained for a little bit, it was absolutely perfect! We have been to the waterpark multiple times over the years, but this was our first time "glamping". Note: they do not have wifi or televisions which may be devastating for some 🙃, but cell service was good if you have mobile hotspot for your own smart tvs, tablets, etc. Very quiet and clean. Hike in cabins (about 150 feet), but they have carts to take your belongings. Cabins were very clean and spacious with screened in porches. Heat and AC (super quiet) as well as heat in the bathroom. Playground, pond, and hiking trail right next to the cabins. The kids loved seeing the frogs and little lizards. They have a camp store onsite that isn't terribly expensive if you don't want to drive 10-15 minutes to "civilization". 😄 Overall, it was such a pleasant and relaxing experience. We definitely plan to come back before the end of summer.
Jun 01, 2025 · Susie RobertsCamp hosts were great, but the police patrolling the campgrounds are overbearing to the point of harassment. They drive by every hour and visited three sites to confirm reservations and parking tags. For no reason, an officer shined a flashlight and knocked on a tent where a minor was sleeping. Felt harassed all day long . Never had this issue at any other state park campground
