Sep 06, 2022 · Michael FrankVery relaxing atmosphere, clean showers and bathrooms, right next to the river & just outside the small town of Kendallville. Great place for gatherings at the shelter house with a ball field, playground equipment, canoe/kayak access. Electric and tent sites with a dump station.
Jul 06, 2022 · Kristi FletcherVery nice park camp ground big trees lots of shade bath rooms old but clean. On the upper Iowa river. Down side over hanging trees from three sides kept us from using the dump station. 2016 Jayco Eagle 321RSTS 36. Tried to talk to the naturalist but he had his own agenda. A big lib!
Jul 29, 2022 · Lee SenneHorrible campground. Camp host kept bringing her dog onto my site after I kindly asked her not to. Her friends dog kept going off leash and at one point ran at my dog, I was very worried we were about to have a dog fight and had to yell several times for her to get and leash her dog.Fireworks were going off well until midnight and a few times they sounded like they were beside the camper. Now mind you, I was camped in the middle. Party times went well into midnight with yelling and all that goes with it, when quite time is 10, I believe. Will never go back and have recommended to all to never camp at this area. Also, found out that this place, awhile back, had cameras in the women's bathroom. So camp at your own risk.
