Keesler AFB FamCamp in Biloxi stands out as an excellent option, offering a comfortable and convenient RV park experience right on the base. This FamCamp is more than just a place to park your rig; it's a community hub where fellow service members and their families can unwind, connect, and enjoy the beautiful coastal environment. It provides a sense of security and camaraderie, combined with the essential amenities that make for a truly enjoyable stay.
Biloxi, Mississippi, is a vibrant city on the Gulf Coast, renowned for its stunning beaches, lively casinos, fresh seafood, and rich historical significance. Keesler Air Force Base, a major training wing of the U.S. Air Force, is an integral part of this community. The Keesler AFB FamCamp is strategically located within this dynamic area, offering its guests the unique advantage of both on-base facilities and easy access to off-base attractions. Reviews consistently highlight the park's friendly atmosphere, often noting the presence of dedicated camp hosts who go above and beyond to assist campers. This commitment to service, coupled with well-maintained sites, positions Keesler AFB FamCamp as a highly recommended destination for eligible members of the military community seeking a blend of relaxation and convenience on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
Keesler AFB FamCamp is located at 2003 Atkinson Rd, Biloxi, MS 39531, USA. This address places the FamCamp directly on Keesler Air Force Base. For eligible guests, access to the FamCamp involves entering the base, which requires valid military or DoD identification. The FamCamp is situated approximately 2.6 miles west of the Keesler AFB Pass Road Gate, nestled under beautiful, centuries-old Live Oak trees, contributing to a serene setting.
Accessibility for RVs, including large motorhomes, is generally well-managed, though some reviewers note that roads to the FamCamp might be "narrow with low oak tree limbs" that require careful navigation, especially for taller vehicles. However, with attention, a 45-foot motorhome has been reported to navigate successfully. Utilizing RV-specific GPS systems is recommended for optimal routing to ensure clearances are respected.
Once on base and at the FamCamp, the concrete slabs at each site make for easy leveling and setup. The proximity to various base facilities, such as the commissary, BX (Base Exchange), fitness centers, and potentially medical services, adds a layer of convenience. Additionally, being on base provides a sense of security and often offers a quieter environment compared to commercial parks. Beyond the base, the FamCamp's Biloxi location provides convenient access to the city's beaches, casinos, museums, and a variety of dining and entertainment options on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. This blend of secure, convenient on-base living with easy access to off-base attractions makes Keesler AFB FamCamp an exceptionally well-positioned choice for military and DoD travelers.

Keesler AFB FamCamp Reviews
This is our second time at this park, and we truly enjoy it. We are currently the camp hosts for the summer and are having a great time meeting all the new campers and helping everyone out. The staff here is wonderful. The park has two bathhouses that are somewhat dated but clean. There are both pull-through and back-in sites available, and each site has a concrete slab and a patio, along with full hookups.
Apr 20, 2025 · Gary PrattLast.minute reservation on Memorial Day weekend. Wonderful site with nice shade. It was a bit tight getting our 45’ motorhome in but easily doable. Thanks to Garmin RV GPS for getting us from the interstate with 13’6” clearance!!!Camp host was very helpful and all facilities are excellent. Highly recommend.
May 26, 2025 · Ronald HansenVery friendly staff and fellow RVers, wifi was decent even for online gaming, and park was clean. Generally quiet, which was nice.Didn't have any issues while there, and it was quite affordable for the monthly stays. It's not on base which made getting delivery easy. The only thing is the gravel lot where the exit is very bumpy, so drive slow. Would definitely visit again. Got to see snow in MS!
Jun 06, 2025 · AaronOk so probably more like an 4.5 *. Our pull in was less than ideal and there is no WiFi , overall it was a quick and easy stopover on our way west. We did not access the restrooms or laundry so I can’t account for that.We were issued slot 47 and are in a 40’er. The roads are pretty narrow and there were vehicles parked all over the place. After having 2 owners move them we were able to swing into the slot. There were outside slots allotted to smaller rigs that could have easily parked into our slot without a problem. The staff and camp host were very friendly and helpful as we maneuvered in. That said, if you’re 40 ft or over, I recommend asking for the slots circled on the map photo as there would likely be no obstruction getting in.There is an enclosed dog park, children’s park and splash pad (which also has covered picnic tables) within walking distance.Would recommend and will be back if we are in the area. For $26 it was worth the price. You can get a beachside slot at another park for about a hundred bucks but well, being on a fixed income we will just drive the rig to the beach and hang out for a couple hours 😊Oh, I forgot to mention….I had 2 wake up calls from a local train. One at 9:30pm and one at 4:30 am. My hubby didn’t hear them but they woke me up 🚂
May 08, 2024 · sherry corleyThis camp truly embraces the community aspect that military campgrounds hold. From the weekly gatherings and breakfasts to the Pickleball outings, this camp is more than just a spot to park your RV. This campground could use a refresh to the bathrooms, but the staff seems to have a handle on keeping them clean. Customer service has been excellent; we have had a wonderful time staying here on multiple occasions.
