Jellystone Campground Reviews
This is our third time here (all during the winter months) and the first time we’ve had issues; three issues to be precise.1) The Class A motorhome next to us has a big dog and the owners have allowed it to go to the bathroom for the last 10 days on their site and my site and they have yet to pick up a single turf; disgusting. I’ve mentioned it to the front desk THREE TIMES and they have done absolutely nothing to either get the owner to pick up the poop or have the park staff do the job. This is unacceptable.2) On several days, the gym has resembled a daycare full of kids happily wiping their noses on their hands and then on to the equipment. The gym is supposed to be 18 and up; I’ve mentioned this to the staff and they have solved nothing. Also, the disinfecting wipes in the gym are bone dry and have not been replaced even after several requests by me.3) We’ve been here 10 days and are leaving a day early as there’s bad weather coming in and we’d rather not be in the middle of bad weather on our travel day. We asked for a one-night refund and were given a nonsensical answer as to what that wasn’t possible. The staff needs a refresher course on taking care of repeat customers.I’ll stay here again as it’s 15 minutes from my son’s home in Castle Rock, but I will not be happy about it unless management gets its act together and does a vastly improved job. We’ve stayed at Sun Outdoors parks in CA, TX, And Granby, CO and this is by far the worst experience we’ve had. Usually, this company is very good at running a clean, friendly park - not this one.
Jan 04, 2025 · Neil HeeneyI have several issues. Although we took my camper, it was due to them overbooked a cabin we reseverved, and I found out the week before. They dont make it clear to bring your own propane tank. Once we got propane, the firepit didn't work. We had to wait until the next day to get maintenance to fix it. So, needless to say, NO smores. The bathrooms/shower doors dont all lock properly. Had 2 people 2 different times walk in on me. The showers have plumbing issues, so as you are showering, it fills with water. The majority of the restrooms were flooded due to this. The beverages and food were very expensive. The arcade is a joke but very expensive. In the 3 nights I stayed, I NEVER saw them night patrol. The staff was nice enough, I guess, but it seems they hire a lot of young youth and do not train them to the fullest. Lack of management! If you think you're going to see Yogi Bear, I wouldn't hold my breath. The events are not worth losing your spot at the pool to leave to attend. They are not very fun, and again, I think they are driven by a training gap and lack of dedicated management. I only gave a 2 star because I think there is potential, just not yet there. I do not know if I would return, but I sure wish I had all the money I spent there and reserving. Knowing what I know now I would have spent the holiday elsewhere.
Jul 06, 2025 · Kimberly LovanWe attended a Tiffin Owners Rally finding Jellystone RV Park a beautiful Park. They put us in site 259 a standard lot but perfect for the view! We were a large group so were divided for events but it was a lovely place for our Rally!
Aug 10, 2024 · Joyce DunlapI wanted to share some feedback regarding the cabins, which, in my opinion, are essentially tiny homes and seem to be priced quite high without clear justification. However, the most concerning issue has been the inability to reach anyone by phone — I’ve tried multiple times, and no one has answered. If the phone line is not monitored or staffed, I’m unsure why it’s provided as a point of contact.
May 28, 2025 · Steve - O (Steve O's Photography)The staff has been very accommodating. Our stay during the off season has been nice and quiet but I hear the summer season can get a little crazy. We hope to make it back here during some holidays and other events they host.
