★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1The campground was taken over by sketchy people. They were cussing when they noticed my wife and I were there. There were nails everywhere and the police circled the park 4 different times. It was a nice place besides the other campers there. Sorry but we were definitely discriminated against by the other regular campers there. Bathrooms were clean.
April 20 · Yungclas FamilyStayed there is weekend, 5/30/25 and it was a wonderful stay. The new owner has the camp grounds clean, free wifi, the shelter house with lights, grassed mowed, firewood for sale, and an understanding campground host.
June 02 · Ashley BrownVery nice people took it over recently and are turning it around. It’s already very well maintained and the problems that apparently used to plague it are cleaned out. Very easy access, sites are well spaced, level, and clean. Water and electric at (nearly?) all. I had 30amps and assume all are at least that. Biggest of rigs would have no problem getting in. Some pull through, most back in, but very large. Very nice fields, trails, and playground for kids. Great location right on the river. Bathroom and shower house is very clean and nice. Dump station included and has full rinse hose. The city still manages the website and fails completely. Prices are $23-$25 night. Do call before going, or at least before parking, because they do take phone reservations but don’t publish that online or indicate reserved sites. Highly recommend for a quick overnight, or longer. Cute town a short walk away with a great ice cream shop and much more
October 07 · Daniel PothierAdel City park attached to soccer fields. North Raccoon river runs alongside. Beautiful. Great camp hosts.
May 28 · Donna BjordahlWe loved staying here! We were greatful they had a spot last minute for us! Very cute place! Their's plenty of things close by a nice grocery store, and gas station. We have family in Iowa and will definitely be back.
