Indian Creek Camplands Inc Reviews
It was my first time camping here. Leon the owner was super friendly, hospitable and helpful. The campsite itself was clean, beautiful and peaceful. There was a nice table and campfire set up and was fairly easy to find. I would highly recommend coming here for a nice weekend getaway. Would definitely come back in the future and I overall enjoyed my stay. :)
Dec 11, 2023 · SofiaWe went primitive camping for the first time and this was the best place to start! We will definitely be regulars!! Owners are very sweet and explain everything you need to know. Check in is simple and easy, cash only which makes everything 10x easier. You can grab $10 bundles of wood here, or get your own from the surrounding woods (as long as it's dead). There is a picnic table and fire pit already there for you as well!
Apr 30, 2023 · Betty MinorMy first time ever going primitive camping. Indian Creek Camplands did not disappoint! The area is in the mountains so make sure you have a vehicle that can handle inclines and semi tough terrains (which is what you will be driving through to get to your camping spot- NO JOKE!). The camp was beautiful- surrounded by trees! It was peaceful- you will hear all of what nature has to offer- bird sounds that my man and I have never heard of before. You will see lots and lots of stars so be sure to stay up to see them because it was magical! Not only that, we saw the International Space Station moving! That was pretty awesome! Dogs are welcome ☺️ PLEASE PLEASE clean up after your dog and yourself! The campsites are clean and people should help to maintain it that way!The owners do a great job keeping the campsites clean. There are portable potty throughout and a bathhouse by the owner’s house. We didn’t use either of them but one of the other campers said the porta potty was clean. We only met one of the owners who is a great host and very nice! READ EVERYTHING ON THEIR WEBSITE! It is a great read- very informative!!The only “negative” thing I can say is the creek isn’t as close or easy to find but if you’re the adventurer type then I’m sure you’ll find it! We went to Ohiopyle (suggested by the owner we met). It turned out to be a nice place to visit. If you are looking to getaway from the hustle and bustle of life; this is the place! If you want to connect with nature then visit here! You will have to find your own entertainment if you don’t want to just be sitting around or walking around. Again, READ WHAT IS ON THEIR WEBSITE! ☺️Foggy photo: drive up to Indian Creek CamplandsA couple photos from campsiteWaterfall photos at Ohiopyle
Jul 24, 2023 · Krisa GregoryWe will definitely be coming back, they were very nice and welcoming to our group of 4. Our site has a gorgeous view and nice large cleared area for our 2 tents. And the privacy is even better! Finally found a campground you can enjoy instead of constantly hearing neighbors or having a bunch of people walk past you. Highly recommend!
Jul 21, 2021 · Jessica BeshearsWonderful campground! The proprietor is so kind and helpful. I am not overstating it when I say this place is STUNNING! Quiet, calm, and a butterfly watcher's dream!
