As Indian Acres of Chesapeake Bay operates on a campsite ownership model rather than a nightly rental system, traditional "promotions or special offers" like those found at transient campgrounds are not typically advertised. Instead, the "special offer" is the unique opportunity to purchase a deeded campsite, essentially owning a vacation property at a potentially lower cost than a traditional vacation home.
However, prospective buyers might inquire about:
Campsite Availability and Pricing: The "promotions" would revolve around the current market availability and pricing of lots for sale within the community.
Annual Fees and Taxes: It's important to understand the annual fees (e.g., $2,780 per lot for 2025) and property taxes (based on Cecil County, MD rates) associated with ownership, as these are ongoing costs.
Financing Options: While not a promotion, there might be information available on financing options for purchasing a campsite.
Occasionally, the association or individual owners might offer incentives for buying specific resale lots. It is always recommended to directly contact the Indian Acres of Chesapeake Bay office or a real estate agent specializing in these types of properties for the most up-to-date information on available campsites for sale and any associated costs or terms. This ensures you get accurate information about becoming a part of this unique community.

Indian Acres of Chesapeake Bay Reviews
Was a very nice place. Location is great. People were very friendly. Some of the funsteads were not to my liking but they are trying to fix up the situation and remove the trashy looking stuff.
Jun 12, 2025 · Jon DrexlerThis campground will pick and choose who they punish so newbies aren’t welcome! A man broke my nose and they kicked me out over it. I guess the owner is into that. Kids wreck golf carts into campers, destroy property, burn stuff in the bathhouses and all of that is fine. avoid this place!
May 29, 2025 · Sarah ColemanWe have been 'funstead' owners since 2007. We spend most weekends here enjoying life ' off grid' (we have been getting cable 'next year' since day 1). Good fishing at the Tdock and some of the ponds, 2 pools with slides, CampStore (delicious, reasonably priced food) game room, covered pavilion for occasional weekend bands & djs and lots of open areas to gather with friends and family. Some negatives are: inaccessible mgmt team, rules changing on a whim with little to no notice (outside of Covid restrictions), lack of an onsite pumping company.
Sep 27, 2020 · Jeanette AIt's a great place for the kids and adults to have a good time. We went fishing at night and hung out by the pool during the day.
Aug 25, 2019 · Mark GilbertMy wife and I recently purchased a lot in Glen 4, and we are so excited! My wife's family has owned places in Indian Acres her whole life, and we've always had a great time down there. We couldn't be happier that our 10 month old daughter will get to spend all her summers here.
