Illinois River Yacht Club and Campground Reviews
My boyfriend and I spent two nights camping here over the weekend. The camping areas were beautiful and well kept. We were able to get a spot with plenty of room between us and other campers. We also went floating which was very beautiful/enjoyable and for a reasonable price. The owners and stuff were all very friendly and accomadating. Very very nice people. The only criticism I have is that I wish the bathrooms had been a bit nicer. But we were camping after all so not a big problem.
Jul 11, 2017 · KristinaWe just spent the night here and loved it!! The kids loved using the rope swing and walking to the bluffs to skip rocks! We pitched our tent by the river and saw an amazing sunrise. The owners were so nice and accommodating. We plan to go back when it's warm enough to float the river!
Mar 18, 2017 · VickieLove this place, unfortunately the owners are never there just workers who don't really do anything about drunk people they drank with coming into your site. Or while you on the float allowed others to move in a use our site while we were gone. entire campsite was gone through while gone. Showers and batthroom did not work when there this time either. Considering my group paid over $300 to float and camp for just a wknd was disappointed. Could be a great place if ran better.
Aug 01, 2018 · Cassy CarterRiver was very nice. But was way overpriced.. The owner makes u pay 3 dollars for children floats to go in water or 5 per launch for kayak or canoe.. Which is a big let down. The cabin was way overpriced for a bed and an a.c. unit.
Jun 09, 2019 · Justin TallmanWe enjoyed the river, the owner and workers were nice and informative as the water had just been extremely high the day before. I hope the bathrooms get better before our next visit though.
