★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We would come here often to camp and head into the swell. This year all the grass is dead. One of the DNR guys said they cut down about 100 trees. Trenches were numerous for new sprinkler lines. And who puts in PVC pipes anymore? Will be hard pressed to want to come back. Staff was nice.
June 04 · Eric JohnsonSmall campsites near the lake. Unfortunately the lake had Ecoli an algae so not a toe in. Not much grass either. Lots of mosquitos. Restrooms are ok. Not crowded…obviously. A ghost town vibe in August! Maybe it was the 3 days of rain and wind.
August 13 · Jenalee MUnfortunately, the camp ground is right next to a road that had big trucks driving up and down at all hours of the day or night. I think this would be a great place to visit during the summer when it's warm enough to use the boat ramp and play in the water.
May 11 · meredith cA nice little tucked away park with fantastic views!
December 10 · Brad WalkerBeach is rocky and muddy. No sand to enjoy. Not a lot of shade. Way out of the way. Wind was so bad we could hardly go outside. Maybe we picked a bad weekend. It was pretty, however. Water and power at each site was nice. Camping sites were generous in non pull through sites.
