Hunter's State Line Campground-Variety Reviews
We just purchased a seasonal site. Brenda and Butch are great with kids, there are activities every weekend. In fact, just this week we had a visit from Santa, it was Christmas in July! Lake is quiet but has some amazing sights and sunsets. Amazing place to make amazing memories.
Jul 17, 2016 · Aimee AmbrosinoGreat place to relax. The people who stay there are all wonderful! The owner Brenda is very nice and accommodating. Season runs from May to October and is affordable. If I come back this way, I'll be sure to come here!

Sep 07, 2022 · Joseph RaperWe're first time seasonal campers here ( or anywhere for that matter). When we first visited/drive thru 2 years ago, we thought it was a hole-in-the-wall type of place. Since actually being here, our opinions have changed. This is mostly a seasonal campers campground. There are very few weekend or a few week's duration sites available. I'll be honest; do not come here during monsoon rains/rainy weather forecasted - you may get flooded out! This campground is located literally right off Hwy 12 in Fitzwilliam, NH. During the day, you can hear traffic. As the night wears on, it lessens. There is a nice pond to swim in, canoe, boat, kayak, fish in or casually gaze at. There is a decent sandy beach. The camp store is adequate. There is no regularly scheduled camp activities for kids or adults. However, seasonals have taken it upon themselves to organize events/activities for the rest of the camp. Activities such as a chicken BBQ, live band, pig roast, pot luck supper, Halloween trick or treating for the kids, scavenger hunt & Camp Olympics. Heck, even a belching contest & a "He-Man" contest is scheduled! Unfortunately, weather hampers many things & this years rains were no exception. Many folks just like to drink, eat, & chill at their sites here; do not expect a highly organized schedule of events. Help/enthusiasm is always appreciated & needed! This is a good place for seasonals. Perhaps, once you come here as a weekender, you may care to join us as seasonal campers. Season runs from late April/early May till mid-October. VERY reasonable seasonal rates!
