Hugh Otte Camping Area

Campground ★4.0

Lander, WY 82520, USA

4.0
Dispersed camping at it's best on the river. Vaulted toilet and bear boxes on site. Horse trailer parking across the street. You can bring a camper in or tent. They say right campers at most but I see more sites than that. The road is pretty rough in the camping area as soon as you turn off the owned road so be ready for that. - Patrick Nottingham

Location and Accessibility

The Hugh Otte Camping Area is located near Lander, WY 82520, USA, specifically within the Shoshone National Forest and the popular Sinks Canyon. To get there, you'll travel about seven miles on State Highway 131 from Lander, and the camping area will be on your left just past the cattle guard that marks the forest boundary.
