Huggin Oaks Reviews
Do NOT stay here. The owner is a horrible person. The water here is ridiculous. It smells like rotten eggs, and it left a rust stain in our tub. Turns out there's a leak at the well, and the owner will not fix it. He will nickel and dime you. Everything is included for 800 a month or so, he says. On the "waterfront," it's 1000 a month. Well, he eventually started asking extra for power. It was not in the "lease" we signed when we moved there that anything over 100 isn't included. (Which he never gave me a copy of. He just sent a screenshot.) He also refused anything except cash money. Never gave a receipt, except an occasional text... I can go on and on. There's so much I can't put it all in here....he harassed us for the power at out our camper before work one morning. He threatened to cut the power if we did not pay extra. He also threatened to have our camper moved from the property bc he wanted almost 300 extra on top of the monthly rent I was paying him. He harrassed me at work. He would not stop texting, and I had already told him I was at work and he was bothering me. He kept texting. I had to block him so I could work. I told him we were not paying extra and would be moving by the 1st of the next month. Apparently, that pissed him off he went and filed eviction papers on us. I had to go to court, and I was already gone from his premises. He's a real jerk. Definitely DO NOT GO HERE! There's also ZERO amenities....
