Great staff. Hands down outstanding!Made sure we were comfortable and very knowledgable about the area.We stayed in the upper campground.. the first few photos. The basic electric sites are close together. Like TIGHT. We paid $37.10 for one night. We were the only ones there. So it didn't matter. The lower campground is marked. Be careful staying down there in wet weather... it's mud path and you can get stuck.Bath house is on the hill..all individual. No sharing.. clean. Nice. There's a pool.. putt putt, go carts, and kayak and canoe adventures. Also small cabins. All new picnic tables this year.Nice place. Honestly.
May 21, 2022 · phaythphul alwaysWorst camping experience ever! My family and I stayed here for Memorial Day weekend thinking it looked like a great campground. We were very mistaken. They were booked at full or very near full (150 + sites with multiple people per site) and only five bath houses open. The bath houses are shower/ toilet combo. It was impossible most of the time to even use a restroom and forget even taking a shower. We had to drive to a gas station or the rest area to just use the bathroom. Save your money and book somewhere else! Also, half the amenities weren’t even open. If you’re wanting to enjoy the Hocking Hills area there are plenty of other places to stay.
May 27, 2024 · Matthew MengelingSites are huge and very nice but they claim the Porto johns were cleaned Friday when we arrived Sunday they were nearly full. With feces on the floor we have tried for 4 days to have something done about it and the only response we get is "I only work here"
Jul 17, 2024 · Heath WeilandWe stayed at hike in site H-15 and while we managed to mostly have a good time, it was in spite of the lackluster campsite. The site was all down hill so we had no level place to setup our tent. The site was so close to other sites you could hear what everyone was saying during our time there. The site was mostly just a mud pit with not even a lot of grass. The picnic table was old and bent.Additionally this site was directly across from a pit latrine, which depending on the wind, made for a truly putrid smell as they're not well maintained.I wouldn't pay to come back and I wouldn't come back if offered for free either, its not worth fighting against the campsite...
Oct 23, 2023 · Fred FaustNot bad. Clean toilets and showers. Nice staff. Microwave mini fridge and a bed. Kids loved the loft. And putt putt, go carts and bounce pad. Trail to river beach wading area was pretty cool too.
