Hillbilly Acres Campground LLC Reviews
We stayed here for months. We loved the place. We made so many friends who we thought of as family. But once you leave it's completely forgotten about. We were INVITED by seasonal guest to come swim with them but the owner Caleb told us to leave even though in the rules it states we could've been there. If you aren't apart of their clic you automatically are pushed out. We loved this place and the people there. So sad to see what it has become. We were also very involved with every event that they had. We also paid $1400 a month for a mobile home that leaked the entire time we stayed. We love the people here and will continue to come to Linton to see our people but this campground with this owner that has an ego of a child will never see our business again.
Jun 22, 2025 · Haley CrainI am not sure why the ratings are so high for this campground. There is NO bath house: NO shower, NO toilets, NO sinks. Only one portable toilet at the back of the campground. There was no reference in the website to the limited facilities, nor did the owner convey this information in our conversation while making a reservation. I can deal with outdoor toilets when necessary, but it is unfair not to communicate this information ahead of time so that guests can make an informed decision before committing.
Jun 22, 2025 · Debi KlangWhat a "Gem"!! From being outta State I cant say enough of how grateful I am of this place. The hospitality is, well.... Caleb is phenomenal. From the 1st time I called until the last day I was there. The cabin is set up perfect. Made me feel right at home for the 2 weeks I was there. The Campgrounds and all the hardwork Caleb has done to that place is remarkable. If I am ever back up in this location, ill definitely be reaching back out to him. Thank you...
Apr 14, 2025 · Kenneth CallawayVery quiet and beautiful campground. We live out of state and in town to visit friends & family. We were able to pay a little additional to use the shelter house to have a family gathering. Everyone remarked about how beautiful it was there. Nice playground for the kids to enjoy too. We plan on coming back!
Oct 25, 2024 · Rita RichardsI have called multiple times plus, filled out the form on the website. Not one call back. I guess they must not want business. Why advertise if you don’t want the business?. Very disappointed, shows poor customer service, and ownership.
