High Rock Campground Reviews
Cool spot for fishing and camping, the hike up there is pretty easy
Sep 23, 2024 · Vv ChanBeautiful view across the lake.9/7/2023 I spent the night alone here. At 2AM I heard the distant sounds of snapping branches, and then the sound of something swatting my bear canister, which I had tied to a tree trunk about 75 feet from my tent. In the morning the canister was exactly where I left it.I noticed that some campers had left a good deal of garbage around one of the fire pits which had been thrown all over the site area. There may be a curious bear in the area.
Sep 10, 2023 · DavidRigorous hike up the trail to the lake but well worth it. Hike to the west side of the lake on a clear day and Mt Rainier towers above the trees. One campsite with a fire ring. That site does get a little swamped when it rains a little. Another site adjacent to the river on the east side is higher up but without an approve fire ring.
