Hickory Ridge Campground

MOUTH WILSON, VA 24363, USA

4.0
Campground was easy to access in large RV, but roads up were a little scary if choosing a large vehicle :) Decent bathrooms and showers. The park has been on my list to visit, and it did not disappoint. Absolutely beautiful. My family hiked the 9 mile summit trail. We were able to see a herd of ponies with foals and a group of the long horned cattle. Although we took a picture of the trail map and that the trail is clearly marked, there are a few areas with a lot of intersections that could be confusing if you are not paying close attention. This was one of my favorite hikes. - Amanda Lentz-Ronning
