Hejamada Campground & RV Park Reviews
Was told they don't want my 14 person party to come there and said they only have 4 camping spots even though there website indicates this isn't the case. Basically was told a lie and didn't want my business. Wouldn't recommend based off this interaction.
Jun 09, 2025 · Dylan NicholasFirstly, I would not recommend the trailer where they gave because it was so OLD. dusty , spiderwebs, limited kitchen supplies, it's just an old trailer and small for my family. Secondly , the location is a star. Family friendly place. Clean . $6 for wood bundle . They got gold cart you can rent , mine was 50$ a day. Fishing pond catch &release. If only trailer was newer that they can give me. I'd come back.
Aug 05, 2024 · Aml HacOn initial impressions, we thought that it was a nice place. Well spaced sites. A little background noise from I90, we expected that.We just stayed overnight on the way to Lake Placid Monday after Labor Day.Would stay here again.
Sep 09, 2024 · Alan KatzThis place really has potential but there were a lot of disappointments. The grounds are beautiful and I definitely enjoyed how quiet it is. The fish fry on Friday was AMAZING, however it took almost an hour to be served and they weren’t even remotely busy. The worst part of the stay is when we drove over to the dumping grounds and found their sewage dump was full!! This was a Sunday morning when they should have been preparing for people to leave, instead we weren’t able to dump our sewage. The only thing that made us suspect it was full was some cones placed out, there was no sign and they did not tell us when we came in Friday that we would not be able to dump our sewage Sunday morning. We left early, around 8, so it wasn’t because we dumped late. I can imagine there were a lot of disappointed people who attempted to dump after us. The pool was closed which was also a large disappointment, being that we are weeks into the season I’m imagining they aren’t planning to open the pool. So the potential is there but there was disappointment.
Jun 25, 2023 · Jessica SteeleArea is nice but not maintained. Could be a beautiful campground but is not. Pool was closed during our stay for maintenance but no one was around working on it. Laundry room was also closed for maintenance and again no one ever working in there. Big fire started near our camp site so had to check it out. It appears, they are tearing down old trailers and burning the debris near camp sites. Carpet, flooring, furniture and other building materials burning and putting out poisonous gasses and black smoke. The septic system makes the entire area smell like sewage. The last day couldn’t end without another disappointment. Even though there was only about 8 non seasonal campers, the dump station was filled. When asked what we were suppose to do about dumping our waste. Their reply was “I don’t know”. We had to go somewhere and pay to dump. This place was a one and done for us and I would advise you to seek another campground.
