Located in the vibrant city of Shawnee, the Heart of Oklahoma Expo RV Park offers a unique and highly functional camping experience, especially for those who travel in RVs. It's a place where convenience meets community, providing a simple yet comprehensive solution for your camping needs. Whether you're in town for a weekend event like a horse rodeo or a large-scale agricultural show, or simply passing through on your way to another Oklahoma destination, this RV park provides a no-frills, reliable home base.
The atmosphere at the Heart of Oklahoma Expo RV Park is dynamic and lively, particularly during event weekends. Visitors often get to witness exciting activities like barrel racing, rodeos, or dog shows, which adds an element of entertainment that you won't find at most other campgrounds. While some may find it a "lonely place" on non-event days, its proximity to Shawnee and major highways makes it a strategic and practical choice for any RVer. Its immense size and capacity to handle large numbers of rigs make it a favorite for RV clubs and groups, including Good Sam's and FMCA, who appreciate the logistical simplicity of gathering here. This blend of event-centric excitement and practical functionality makes it a truly distinctive spot in the Oklahoma camping scene.

Heart of Oklahoma Expo RV Park Reviews
This place is flat and gigantic. There are both fully paved and gravel spots. It’s mostly a giant parking lot with full hook ups. We just happened to stay overnight during an event. There was Horse Barrel racing, and that was pretty cool to see. If there isn’t an event I suspect this is a pretty lonely place. But it is not far off I40, and it’s really close to the town of Shawnee.
