Harrisonburg / Shenandoah Valley KOA Holiday Reviews
Absolutely the cleanest bathrooms at a campground that I have ever seen.Play area is small but great. You can sign out a basketball or other equipment to play with outside.Laundry area looked nice. There's a sink in the laundry room for dishes to be cleaned.Small but quaint campground. Definitely want to go back.
Jun 06, 2025 · Alison FluhartyThis KOA is only a little more than 3 miles from I81. Pretty narrow road takes you to the campground, but we had no issues navigating it in our 40' Class A while towing the truck. Very receptive office when checking in and an escort to our site. We stayed at 37 and did not bother to unhook, had plenty of room. We ordered pizza, firewood, and ice from the office, which was delivered to our site. Very convenient. Nice gravel sites, plenty of shade trees, and quiet. We really enjoyed our stop for the night.
May 21, 2025 · Russ HallRV site was perfect. Staff was excellent and very responsive especially Jim. Location is far from the NP, however the surrounding location was beautiful. Small dog park. They should consider updating laundry room. Bathrooms and showers were very clean. Would stay here again.
Jun 07, 2025 · Kimberley BanksI love everything about this KOA. The location is perfect for any size family to enjoy all that Shanandoah has to offer while keeping you comfortable as you enjoy the fresh outdoors. Wether you want to venture off, or stay at base - there's no shortage of fun things to do. The grounds and facilities are always clean and well stocked. Bathrooms stay warm with hot water for campers during the colder months. The staff are friendly and helpful. Camp store has anything you need for a quick fix... Plus fresh coffee. We will definitely be back.
Mar 24, 2025 · Jessica YawnWe love this campground and come several times a season. The people in the office are like family and treat you as such. The activities are great for the kids and we have brought our grandchildren here several times. Some sites are better than others but ther are no BAD sites. We've met several of the camp hosts and find them helpful and friendly. If you want the best site of the campground book #32. It's near the chickens but no roosters. There is a huge grassy area to spread out and a small wooded area between you and the next camper. Thank you Harrisonburg KOA you're the BEST!!!!!
