Hardwood Campsite On Grand Island

Campground ★4.0

F8R8+9R, Munising, MI 49862, USA

4.0
Great campsite that is far enough from the main trail that you won't see it hear anyone. Waterfall Beach is close by and drinking water and free firewood is available about a half mile south near the group campground. The site has an outside pit toilet, bear bin that holds multiple backpacks, two benches, fire pit with grill, and a bear pole to hang food. Very easy flat hike from the ferry. The only thing that would make it better would to have a veiw of the lake. - Michael Calabro

This speaks directly to the profound sense of privacy and escape that defines the Hardwood experience. We understand that finding a camping spot that offers genuine seclusion while still providing essential primitive amenities can be challenging, and we aim to highlight why Hardwood Campsite stands out as an exceptional choice for Michigan locals looking for that authentic backcountry feel.
